Guide for Reviewers

Peer reviewers play a vital role in the scientific community by ensuring the quality and integrity of published research. The Journal of Artificial Intelligence Applications and Data Science (JAIADS) appreciates the time and expertise dedicated by our reviewers.

The Review Process

JAIADS utilizes a single-blind peer review system. All reviews are submitted and managed through the Editorial Manager platform.

Reviewer Responsibilities

  • Confidentiality: Treat all submitted manuscripts as confidential documents. Do not discuss them with others or use the information for personal gain.
  • Timeliness: Please complete your review within the requested timeframe (typically 2-3 weeks). If you cannot meet the deadline, notify the editor immediately.
  • Objectivity: Reviews should be conducted objectively. Personal criticism of the author is inappropriate.
  • Conflict of Interest: Disclose any potential conflicts of interest to the editor before accepting an invitation to review.
  • Supporting Arguments: Explain and support your judgments so that both editors and authors can understand the basis of your comments.

How to Review

When evaluating a manuscript, please consider the following:

  1. Originality: Is the work novel and does it contribute to the field?
  2. Methodology: Is the study design robust and the experimental setup clearly described?
  3. Clarity: Is the manuscript well-written and easy to follow?
  4. Ethics: Are there any ethical concerns regarding the research or the authors' conduct?
  5. References: Are the references relevant and up-to-date?

Submitting Your Review

Log in to your Editorial Manager account and follow the instructions provided in the reviewer dashboard. You will be asked to provide both comments for the authors and confidential comments for the editor, along with a recommendation (Accept, Revisions, or Reject).
